Nokia gone Social Networking

The cellphone giant Nokia is again gonna hit the market with its new concept of Social Networking phone.
In this regard it has announced the launch its 3 new handsets-Nokia-C3, C5 and E5. All of these symbians phone have built-in social networking integration and have the full access to all the apps on the Ovi store.
What more is that a fully physical qwerty keyboard is also provided with all of these.

Nokia C3 is a power packed budget phone and would be the first series 40 featuring a QWERTY. The phone features WiFi, 2MP camera, 2.4″ screen, bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone socket and microSD support upto 8GB. The phone comes pre-installed with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat. The phone provides one-click access to social networks like Facebook and Twitter. It will be available in Q2 2010 for a price of EUR 90 ($120) in three colors – golden white, slate grey and hot pink. Guess Nokia has decided to counter the cheap phones by Spice, Maxx, Videocon and Samsung with this one!

Nokia C6 features a 3.2″ touchscreen with a slide-out QWERTY (that IMO takes inspiration from the N97 in design.) The phone supports multiple e-mail accounts and social networking platforms. The phone also provides access to Facebook feeds on the homescreen. The specifications include WiFi b/g and quadband UMTS/HSPA, 5MP autofocus camera with flash, front-facing camera for video calls, FM radio, Bluetooth and A-GPS. C6 would support Nokia’s free walk and drive navigation. It will be available in Q2 2010 for EUR 220 ($299).

Nokia E5 would fit into the business series of the phone. The S60V5 phone would feature built in WiFi, A-GPS, HSPA, bluetooth and 5 megapixel camera. It also provides direct access to over 90% of world’s corporate e-mail through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. It too would feature Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation. It would be available in Q3 2010 for a price of EUR 180 ($245).

Well seems like Nokia trying to cope up in the race of social networking with brands like Samsung.
